NCSoft Arenanet returns with a bang...

Not just any bang, this is an explosion of epic proportions, nuclear proportions of epicness. The newly released trailer for their up coming game, Guild Wars 2 has left me feeling a mix of several emotions and I am just speechless. I tell you what they sure know how to make a trailer.

The first game was a free to play game with only the purchase of the game required. 6 Classes to chose from which as the title implied has a focus on Guild vs Guild combat. The single player was a very strong story also with stunning visuals, a wide assortment of skills which all complemented each other and each class for an even stonger team based experience. The problem for is that it got boring fast, because of the low level cap (lvl20) which can be reached within hours the only thing left to do was farm for better weaponry and armor with raids amd all that was left was the PvP aspect, the Guild vs Guild ranking. The good thing about it is that it isn't a hardcore mmo, it can appeal to even the most casual of players so if it plays anything like the first one I will be a good experience... well I think it will be a great experience none the less!

I have been waiting long for this, everyone knew of its comming, the time is almost at hand...

looks promising. I didn't play the first one(s) since no one I know wanted to play it with ... and just myself, it's kinda pointless.

Will see if I'll be able to convince some to play this one with me :) one friend is already fascinated by the graphics and story :)

Gaaaah I'm so excited. I played Guild Wars (1?) as one of my first mmo experiences and I still remember those FoW runs. I have to say I'm pretty excited. But for the love of god please let us jump...

I played the first GW and I fell in love with it. The story was great and how each class complemented each other so well that it was almost impossible to complete with NPCs. I also loved the fact that it was free to play online. Will the sequel be the same as well?
