Wow, such an old list. . .it's nice to see what I was listening to at the time =D

So, this is a short update really. . .the two bands I believe to be the best!

Dope (There is no doubt Dope is one of, if not the, best bands)
Rage Against the Machine (RAtM are arguably one of the best, powerful music, backed with strong vocals, speaking on what they believe, gotta love them)

As this is a forum to share and discuss views and opinions.. lol!

I must know, Tsuna, what made you list Disturbed as one of the worst? I always kinda liked them, they've no doubt had some rubbish tracks and gotten worse over time but still, lol!

Haha, similar to what you've said! Personally I've never enjoyed their music, I think it's juvenile, repetitive, and I really don't like David Draiman. He's not a very diverse vocalist and I don't see much progression in their music and they stick to the "same old, same old" style, and good for them, it continues to make money. But I like musicians and artists who do a wide variety of things and don't limit themselves to one particular genre or method.

I've kind of outgrown the whole generic "hard rock" style (I hate to say mainstream because there are great mainstream bands out there, few but there are!) and they to me are the ringleaders of that.

I wouldn't agree that they're repetitive, and although Draiman isn't a very diverse vocalist he has unique and distinguishable vocals, which I like.

Also, I think because Draiman lacks diversity with his vocals they have stick to the "same old, same old".
