I gotta say Capcom.
No fighting game will ever beat SF2 for SNES.
Then maybe Namco for Tekken and Soul Calibur.
Then Midway for MK.
What does Tecmo have? Dead or Alive?
Only tried DoA2.
I really loved that game, it's great.
SNK are useless on their own.
They have to collaborate with Capcom to get good games.

Tecmo due to pure favouritism, DoA is as most should know my all time fav game.
But otherwise would be Capcom, they have SF3rd Strike, Darkstalkers =D
Oh nothing beats the Street Fighter series in my books. Not a big fan of the 3D SF games though, the 2d ones are just so much more fun and faster.
I wonder what would happen if they got rid of the characters like Ryu, Ken, Akuma, Chun Li and so on... it'd be pretty weird.

I love SNK, always have since I was 6.
The King of Fighters series, Samurai Shodown series & Metal Slug series.<33!
KoF being my fave.
Then after Namco would be my second fave, because of the Tekken & Soul Edge/Calibur series.
That reminds me, can't wait for the soul calibur movie!

In all honesty, I think Capcom has the fighting game genre pretty much .... down pack. They started the fighting game revolution with Street Fighter, which lead to many other fighting game along the same genre and they are just masters of their craft. I'd say ... Capcom has made the most fighting games, so I'd say they'd win - no hands down. ^^

I prefer Tecmo due to there DoA series, which has good graphics, great endings, and a wide range of 3d fighters, and arenas.

I still have yet to try ANY DOA games... Shame shame on me, yes...
Honestly though, I'm not really that much into fighting/beat-em-ups. But hey, it's perfect for when I'm frustrated or when I just wanna get away from the RPG's and horror-adventure games for a while xD

Personally a fan of the Soul Calibur Series, so definitely Namco. I haven't gotten to play SC 4 yet, but I loved the character creator on SC3 so I hope they have it on SC 4.

Oh they certainly do and you won't be disapointed, it has more items to customize your toon with, over all this game has improved in everyone aspect of SC itself. Though I am not found with the Tower. I liked SC2's one where you travel and SC3 had a nice tactics ones which was unique.
