Well, nice cut..^^
Yet it'll be good to save your renders as a PNG file, instead of a gift file.
All and all, judging from your render you did, its good.
Remember to save all Renders as PNG! =D

Oh yes, when you do save it as a png, and post it here, the background wont be transparent. But when you save it in your comp, and open it with a design program, it'll be transparent there. =3

Please, call me BD, everyone else does.

Any some of my tips;

1. Try and find a very high res scan. (Minitokyo.net is a good place to start.)
2. When extracting the image make sure you have 'anti-alias' on, as it smooths out the edges.

And what program do you use?

I use photoshop cs2. Well i used the pen tool for that one. Just trying different styles in cutting images. :3

A lot better MR! Definitely very nice cuts. It's not jaggedy at all and the lines are smooth. Excellent. :)

One tip with that render there, I would of stroked it with a 1 pixel stroke to give it some confinement. If you look at the edges, it seems like it's going to spill the colors out if you shake it. lol Just try the 1 pixel black stroke and see what you think. I think it'll give your render definition. ^_^

Completly luvin your new render Mystic =3. Yet I dont see an outline of the picture thats was originally there, unless it was like that at first? But looks like a nice Vector work tho. O_O I might use it for one of my layouts. Of course, credit to you and the Image site you found it at. =3

oh indeed you may. Oh yes. It did not have an outline in the first place. I got it off minitokyo.net, ^__^ credit to whoever did such a splendid job.

Agreed, much better improvement there. As Thorny said no more jagged outline = great.

My complaint... I don't like the character image -LOL-
